Week 3:

Due to the change we made the first week of construction to the doorway between the kitchen and dining room, we had the framers install 2 steel columns in the crawl space . (Shown to your left is one of the two columns that was installed)

The framers also removed the turn-post that was installed by the previous construction company (the turn-post was used to support the bathroom floor) with a double joist. This allows us to take full advantage of the original staircase and open banister/railing design.

Week 2:

The plumbing rough-in for the bathroom upstairs has been started. There will be a 19" soaker tub in the bathroom. The area to the right of the tub is where the washer and dryer will be located.

The massive bushes on the right side of the house were removed along with the metal fence that lined the right side of the yard.

Follow us through the renovation by viewing our weekly updates!

Week 1:

Our framers removed a foot from this existing doorway between the kitchen and dining room to allow for a better flow between the two rooms.

Our framers also raised the entrance between the dining room and the living room so that all of the doorways are the same height.

Our framers built closets in each of the 3 bedrooms upstairs.
